Blacks Carpentry is the studio of master carpenter Tom Black, based in Bristol.

What started as a love of working with timber has become a fifteen-year practice building bespoke furniture, kitchens and architectural joinery for homeowners, architects and interior designers who care about the details.

We're a small studio by design. Tom personally measures, designs, builds and installs every piece — there are no salespeople, no subcontractors, no compromises. That's how we keep the standard absurdly high.

Every project starts the same way: a conversation. We listen carefully to how you want to live in your space, then propose a design that's beautiful, practical and built to outlast us all.
